Ametek Lamb 115923 E47185 Vacuum Motor 120V 50/60 Hz – Tested

Lamb Electric Ametek 115923 E47185 vacuum motor. This motor is used, but it was not in service very long. It came from a pneumatic tube system. While it’s date code is from 2008, it was removed from service about 15 years ago. From what I remember we were sent a replacement and was instructed to replace the motor, but a tube was disconnected so replacing the motor didn’t fix the problem. I kept this motor since it was pretty new and nothing was wrong with it. I tested it by applying AC power. Motor spins freely and balanced while sounding good without sparking from the brushes. I have a couple of pictures of the motor spinning under power. Wire lengths are 5″ and 1.5″.
