Water will not be able to absorb a high volume of this fine dust and it will be left to the GoodVac filter to capture it, which it will. However the filter will quickly become clogged and you will be left needing to replace it again. Even though you could try washing it, we strongly recommend just replacing the filter. Washing the dust particles out of microscopic filter pores is nearly impossible. It will never recover 100% airflow, and if not dried properly it can start to stink badly.
