The 4 to 2.25 Reducer Dust Collector Adapter by POWERTEC. This handy attachment was intended to provide you a high quality solution to reducing your 4 inch dust collection hose to 2-1/4 inches. Doing so not only produces an increase in airflow and velocity, but helps eliminate unnecessary and time consuming clogs for your shop vac connections. In addition to the tapered “press-on-to-fit” design, the smaller end of the connector gives you a convenient adapter that fits into most common sized 2-1/4” ID ports – ideal for table saws, router tables, sanders, jointers, planers and other dust collection tools. Please Note: The 2-1/4” OD end will work with some 2-1/2” OD adapters that have 2-1/4” ID openings.
