It accepts most universal style low voltage and straight suction central vacuum hoses. It will not work with electrical direct connect hoses, Sears/Kenmore hoses and Budd hoses. This inlet requires a standard mounting bracket (sold separately) for new installations. It can also be used to replace the face of old universal style standard inlets for a new fresh look. The square door is hinged and has a rubber gasket that seals off the inlet to prevent air leak when closed. The screws are visible with the door closed and are included for mounting.
